Please explain why you think Poirier is “fake”

Why is Poirier fake?

Because he dominated the McGregor cockgobblers' God and Poirier and his wife insulted him after the fight, so now they must do anything they can to try to make their favorite pacifier look better.
No, the reality is because Poirier is gaining fame. It has nothing to do with Conor though I'm sure there are conor haters. It's because they see a guy who's an introvert using his platform to try to uplift his community.

Before, he was just the fun fighter that everyone like to see bang. When Khabib fucked him up, no one cared to mention how fake they thought he was. When he fucked up max the second time, those same people cheered. He was the hipsters JBG.

Now he's getting popular. Everyone is tuned on to the fact that this guy might be the best LW in the world, and they hate that he's getting all this attention now. What he's been doing with the charity is nothing new. It's just on a bigger platform now. When it wasn't conor, and max holloway was donating shit, it was cool. When it was khabib, its cool. Now, because he's got up there in recognition they hatin'. It's just gate keeping hipster nonsense.

I'm sure he does a lot of things that rub people the wrong way, everyone doesn't have to like everyone, but its only amplified because his platform is growing and the sherbros are just hating and/or elevating him to some standard that's unrealistic.

Conor can talk shit, but Poirier can't be human and taunt conor after keeping it respectful all the way up to the leadup. Why? because it's not classy and "fake" :D

He's supposed to be a saint and take the high road.

Hey mate, just to clarify I don't think he's a horrible person or anything like that. I just think he can be classless.

I'm moreso referring to that strut he did to mock an opponent with a extremely serious injury. To me, those actions are incongruent with saying things like "I pray we both get out of there safe". Just smacks of poor sportsmanship imo.
Fair enough. But in DP's defense, he doesn't call himself a saint, he's just a good, very human, human. The strut was SOOOO MUCH less than what the likes of Conman and Ronda do and behave towards their opponent (before and) after a fight that the guy should get a pass from the critics considering the context (i.e., post-HUGE adrenaline filled career fight against a guy talking shit and threatening the life of you and your wife). Perspective.

it cause conro had it coming. sitting still in the cage he still calling his wife a whore an saying we coming to kill you. that way way over the time. on top of that he photo shops a dm ftrying to kill dustin marriage. so wrong.
Like I already explained, Conor started talking shit after Dustin celebrated and then mocked Conor. If you don’t think that’s how it happened, then you’d have to show me proof.

And you keeps saying that the DM was fake. Do you know something I don’t, because it looked real to me.

I wonder if there's something substantially different in how Silva and McGregor act. I don't remember Silva threatening to murder Weidman's family, attacking his wife on twitter, assaulting women, beating up old men in bars, throwing dollies through bus windows, hitting a kid in the crowd with a water bottle... Conor earned every bit of the shit coming his way, and didn't learn anything from it, as evidenced by the shit he posted on twitter days later. Silva said he was going to beat Chris and then attempted to troll him during the first fight to get him off his game. The only thing similar about these is that both ended in tib/fib breaks.
You can think Conor had it coming all you want, but just don’t pretend like Conor is the only bad guy. If you’re going to blame Conor for the crap he said after the fight, then you also have to blame Dustin for how he acted. You can’t have it both ways, otherwise you look like a hypocrite.

Ok. Or I just look like a reasonable person who thinks women beating drug abusing clowns get what they deserve and look like whining little children when they can't take what they dish out.

This idea that Dustin owes Conor grace after being treated like shit and having the guy try to ruin his marriage? Yea, fuck that. Don't start shit you can't finish.

So here's the thing specifically regarding the "fakeness".

Post fight after Poirier and McGregor:

1) Poirier points and laugh at McGregor
2) Poirier's wife flips him off
3) Poirier mocks McGregor's broken foot

He also: wishes him well, and for him to return safely to his family.

After you mock the guy for breaking his feet, laughed at him, and then choose to wish him a safe return to his "beautiful family".
The part where you comment the guy about his beautiful family comes off as extremely insincere and faked.
.

don't forget he mocked the vince mcmahon walk

You can think what you want, but to me celebrating and taunting an opponent that just had a career ending injury is much worse that anything Conor said to Dustin.

The other stuff you mentioned is irrelevant in the scope what happened during this fight. So again you can thing what you want, but to me it makes you a hypocrite, because if the roles were reversed you would be screaming about how Conor is evil for celebrating Dustin’s broken leg.

It's hardly my fault if you can't understand that abusive drug abusing psychopathic assholes don't deserve sympathy. That's your problem, not mine. Maybe Conor should have followed the golden rule.

any one an photo shop anything she even said it wasnt true she didnt do it. also notice how conor didnt show that he accacted the message and post what the message was.

This is such a childish mentality. " but one guy did this, while the other did that" boo hoo.

No one said he deserves sympathy just that dustin lacks class. Reading comprehension is so rare on aherdog.

The way I see it he grew up with a bit of "thug" in him because of his background. Now that he became mature he knows that is not the best way to act in life. So he is behaving kind, civilized, and intelligent. However, he still has a bit of "thug" in him. So, sometimes this comes out for example the post fight interview.

Concluding, I don't think he is fake. I think it shows maturity and good character to act like a nice human even though in his youth he probably did not.

Dustin showed fake respect out of fear for Conor in their 2nd fight but celebrated after Conor flukishly broke his leg in the third fight.

You seem very immature.

I think 99.9% of folks are fake.

But then again I don't care about 99.9% a folks...

I’ve rewatched the ending many times, and what I saw was Dustin Celebrate after Conor broke his leg. And then try to go over to Conor. Conor then saying doctor stoppage, and then Dustin taunting him as he was getting his hand raised. Conor then starts talking shit while Dustin is being interviewed. If I’m wrong about the sequence of events, then I’m willing to admit that I’m wrong, but you’d have to show me proof first.

He was yelling shit the entire time they were announcing Dustin as the winner.

the training footage was completely debunked. Colby was lying about it. I have no problem with him being cold to classless opponents. Conor was acting way out of hand.
How was it debunked? Just curious, didn’t follow the whole story.. I’ve read that it was debunked on this board a couple of times but noone will say how.. thank you

People who think he’s fake are assholes who love their scumbag god Conor and can’t conceive anyone being a decent human being. Debunk that bitches.
