Seattle almost certainly going to get another franchise at some point. And they will be called the Sonics. The settlement between the city of Seattle and the team's former ownership stipulated that the name, logos, colors, and history of the SuperSonics would be returned to Seattle if the city were to receive a new NBA team.

I'm from OKC. I was just digging in at anyone here who might be from Seattle. When they get their team back, they get everything, including their NBA title that we technically hold from like 79 or whenever. As it should be, they're really a good sports town and deserve to have a team there. Just grateful we weren't the top team and lose to an 8 seed like Payton and Kemp did that year to the Nugs
