Isn't playing basically only your starters all year and never using your bench mentally disabled?
Not if you've seen the Knicks bench.

Thibs plays his starters a lot but its not a huge margin of difference. He rotates bench players through line ups with his starters. He just doesn't throw his entire bench at the court very often like a lot of teams do. He generally has 2-3 starters on the floor for consistency.

I'm not sure its a good idea because there is more movement in todays game than ever before. It's harder to play today than in any era. I can at least understand his approach.
