Proud of my Nuggets extending it to 7 assuming they don't collapse here. Sweet no look pass.

Thing is Jokic is notorious bad when there's an extra day's rest. Extra day *might* help the rest of the Nuggets though.

I’d rather see the Nugs win, but my gut tells me Thunder win by blow out at home.

Looks like Murray had a big game so he’s due for a huge stinker in g7. Rip Dino nugs
Any time an NBA player says he has the flu you can expect him to go off. Like when Kobe used to pretend he had the flu and miraculously be the one taking all the shots and getting all the points that night.

If a player says he has the flu, expect a career night imo.

Last 2 games hes been rough on both ends but tonight he showed up. KCP was a perfect fit for the team though.

Pretty good for a 17 year old. Nuggets are such a scary team cause they have 4 or 5 guys who can bust out for 25 or give you 5. Guess we're rolling the dice one more time. My heart says the Thunder take care of business, but I thought it was over tonight when it was like 52-46 Thunder, then suddenly it was 64-64, then the Nuts were up 10 again. Pretty cool to see the two MVP finalists going 7.

Pretty sure he's not 17, but yeah, he's been playing well.

Thing is depending on the the defense, busting out foro 25 isn't that big a deal. I mean, if people are gonna double or triple Jokic before he even has a chance to get the ball, the other players really need to take advantage of the space created in those opportunities.

The Nuggets are resilient as hell. OKC is clearly the overall better team with depth all the way down, but the Nuggets have the best player in basketball and all it takes is for two or three of their starters to have competent games for them to be title contenders. If one or two of their bench players were even competent enough to consistently get 10 points they'd be the champions this year.

Is prime Jokic more dominant than Shaq?

At basketball?

{<jordan}

Shaq puts Jokic through the hoop after throwing Chet Holmgren out of the arena. Jokic can get away with being one of the worst rim protectors I've ever seen because nothing remotely close to this exists in today's league:

Orlando/late 90s Shaq would thrive in today's league and probably average 45-20-10 while being an elite defender.

When teams load up on bigs to deal with Jokic then maybe there will be a discussion.

Well I'm not talking about physicality as obviously in that sense Shaq is unparalleled. Talking about impact on the game.

I agree Shaq would dominate with today's soft ass rules.

For impact on the game, it's even more one-sided in Shaq's favor.

Shaq changed the way teams built their rosters. Teams had no choice but to load up on bigs. They also changed the rules because of him (hack-a-shaq, allowing zone/multiple defenders in the paint...). They also had to improve the equipment because he kept breaking everything.

Jokic has virtually no impact on how teams build their roster, the rules of the game, or the equipment, whereas Shaq literally changed the trajectory of the league on his own.
