It might've mattered....
Nah, I think they still win comfortably. Tonight they schemed out Jimmy early, and while Jimmy may have been able to adapt after he went down they just stopped using Sengun in the high post to open up Eason. If he's in the game tonight I don't think it changes much. For game 3, it will definitely be of importance if he's out.

I dunno...they literally might have a guy on the fkoor can play D and create his own shots.

Jimmy's biggest asset is his mid range, I think he helps keep it within 10, but I dont think he can keep up with the Rockets hitting shots tonight. They were just better overall and have better match ups. Tonight Podziemski was a no show too. Looney sucks. Kuminga is mid, and their 2nd best scorer couldn't jump over a tonka truck.

Getting Klay Thompson wasn't that great.

And honestly Lively, Gafford and PJ Washington are yet to prove that they are championship level starters without the presence of a talented play maker. They were good in a system with Luka..

In their play-in game against the grizzlies those players were unable to create any offense at all, like none. I think some of them had like 0 points on high minutes.

Crazy to completely build a roster around a point forward, then remove the forward who set up all the lengthy defenders with no dribble game to go get a lengthy defender with no dribble game.

Now they have no play making, no assets, no playoffs alla after being in the Finals last year. Nico and ownership bless. Cya guys in Las Vegas :|

Exactly

Where's our pal @MusterX to make sense of all this?

I've been working a lot lately but truthfully, still recovering from a maniac that nuked a Finals franchise into ash for the lulz. Nico has been running his mouth as of late saying he didn't know the extent Dallas loved Luka Doncic. That's just insane considering his entire job from the time he was with Nike to the GM of the Mavericks is to know that kind of obvious information. Every year in Dallas, July 6th is Luka Doncic day. Dude has his own day but Nico says he didn't know the extent that guy is loved in Dallas.

I'm still watching playoff basketball, but I'm not gonna lie, it feels hollow. I hope it improves over time.

Hang in there! And yeah, the whole thing must absolutely suck for Dallas fans lol. I've never had any team I support fuck up this huge. Can't really relate.

Blunder forgot to show up. Memphis will probably still find a way to lose.
