Most of the shooters can't really shoot, most of the bigs are either not big or not athletic, and most players can't play legitimate defense. I've never seen so many airballs, hilarious misses, and just overall nonsense in virtually every area of the game. It's not even surprising the 90s GOAT era had a higher three point percentage, which is what this era is supposed to be known for.
Everyone wants to be Chef GOAT but people don't appreciate his greatness and that he's just an anomaly. He generates the offense, generally has to create his shots. and is the focal point of the opposing defense. His shot difficulty is much higher than the typical can just jacking up threes. No one comes close to replicating him. It's just reality.
Hopefully the league gets back on track at some point and trends back to the GOAT era. It's time to accept you're not Steph Curry, and that's ok. No one is.
