The narrative around the Nugs shouldn't just be that people need to step up (other than MPJ).

Murray: 21-6-6
Gordon: 22-14-1
Westbrook: 18-2-2
Braun: 11-13-3

A big part of the narrative should be that they need a much deeper bench and better defense so that they don't have to expect so much offensively, especially from Jokic. Of the teams left, the Nugs have the worst defensive rating, which isn't surprising considering they had the worst defensive rating in the regular season out of all these teams. They're going to struggle to keep scores low.

Jokic is the engine but if people are expecting all these guys to be putting up 20 and 10 or something then there's obviously something fundamentally wrong with the team.

Holy crap the Celts are boring as shit to watch. Their whole offense, while elite and fundamentally sound, was designed in some analytics lab.

The way they reffed the NY-Detroit series was so entertaining. It was refreshing. But it seems that's the only one they're going to allow that much contact.

Biggest mistake was not getting a proper big at the trade deadline. Nnaji is overpaid and only goes in when they clear the bench, Jordan is obviously on his very last legs, hopefully next season Holmes is as good as they hope. Luckily Jokic can still carry the team even when he's fully gassed.

Booth and Malone sabatoging the young players and vets to prove each other wrong didn't help either. Crazy that they even made it this far, Westbrook is the depth with Watson on occasion for defense.

Is the announcer team set for each series? I don't want to have to listen to Ian Eagle throughout the Nugs-OKC series. Once in a while I'd get stuck with him on a football game I want to watch. Nothing against him but dude's voice is insufferable imo

What's always bugged me is his parents choosing to mispronounce his name. EE-an Eagle (as it should be) is so much better sounding than Eye-an Eagle.

Stan Van Gundy has been the one I strongly dislike listening to this season. His commentary is like he bet his life savings on the game he's on.

Someone who's actually excited about basketball must be so terrible
