Lebron was exceptional for a 40 year old, he put up several monster defensive games, and a 38 piece, special stuff at his age.

Luka played really well offensively, he was below average on defence, but for the most part, he held up his part of the bargain, averaging 30 for the series.

The Wolves won, because as a whole they have a better / deeper team, and they've been able to work on their chemistry as a unit for quite some time. ANT, Mcdaniels, Naz, Di Vincenzo and even Golbert had a great series, they are solid from top to bottom and because of that they were able to take advantage of the Lakers weak points.

Austin Reeves played like absolute shit in this series, he did more harm than good most of the time. Gabe Vincent, DFS, Vanderbilt, Hayes and Hachimura can't really hold a candle to any players on the starting 5 for the wolves, they really aren't championship level starters and it's as simple as that.

Many of the games went down to the line, and that was the difference maker imo.

Trying to be objective as possible (I think) how do the Lakers improve the team? They have to pay people in the offseason, right? If I remember right LeBron has a player option of around $50 million.
 
Thread getting a lot more action from haters than people who actually watched the game.

It's crazy how I'm happy my wolves won but everyone is so butthurt about LeGOAT they try to make fun of him for having a great series lmao

LOL the league is completely upside down when superstars are paid to rack up stats vs Portland and Utah during the reg season, then when the playoffs come around, just defer to the role players making 10-20 percent salary of the superstars and expect the grunts to do the heavy lifting.

Makes it easy to point fingers and skirt accountability. Must be nice making guaranteed millions.

MJ crushed teams with his clutch ability so much that the role players like Steve Kerr were wide open with the confidence to pull that off. These guys cant do what MJ did, they need to grind like AE was doing all series who now has the last word and has his revenge over Luka.

Sucks that at age 40 LeGoat can’t carry teams to victory anymore. SMH.

Yeah Steve Kerr, Scottie Pippen, John Paxson, etc never made game winning or clutch shots
