Watched the game last night....some of the worst basketball I've ever seen in my entire life. Obscene palming, travelling and simply awkward movement all game, everywhere......the game has deteriorated to a joke as far as I can tell. What happened?

Most of the younger gens don't even watch the games now. It's unwatchable junk. Watch the highlights and read box scores, and talk shit about whatever meaningless gossip Perk and Steven A Smith were arguing about this morning. All the while, never spending much if any time on the court, actually playing and learning the sport, instead spend all their time eating cheetos and playing 2K on Xbox or PS5 and become NBA savants that way.

For most of these young players "winning" in the NBA simply means getting a guaranteed multi-million dollar contract. Not making the playoffs or getting bounced in the first round? no sweat, it simply means less work, and more holidays. Work on them offensive stats during reg season, let the less athletically gifted, poor grunts on the bench do all the dirty work, risking injuries as a 2 way player. Grinding your opponent on D, crashing boards, driving to the hoop? all that work 2pts? Nah. Forget the boomers ring culture, it's dead.

Good thing money grows on trees or the league might have trouble on the horizon.

The championship window is only two seasons big but it's looking very good.

Sengun, Thompson, Smith, Whitmore, and Sheppard will only get better. KD can still get you 25 and 35+ when he's on so the final piece is set.
