I'm hoping against all odds the Knicks somehow force 7 games then maybe the winner will ride momentum into the Finals while the Thunder are having too many days off and getting cold. Maybe they F around and lose Game 1, and we end up having an actual series. Thunder in 5 does not sound fun for anyone outside of Oklahoma.

Don’t the Thunder also have a really favourable future based on trade assets and picks? They are poised to run shit for the next few years.

People don’t care now, but once they win, this storyline will begin to build up some juice.

I wonder who will challenge them, maybe if the rockets, cavs or pacers are able to get some more star level pieces, they could be a little rival for OKC.
