Went about as expected after that lucky backfist Klein got in early. Dude seemed scared shitless about trading even when he had him on roller skates, and all he accomplished trying to wrestle was gas himself out.

Given the odds, I thought Klein hung in there okay even without the back elbow that hurt Malik. He clearly was outgunned but as a +900 or whatever dog...he didn't go in there to roll over.

You don't because it's so easy to counter. You can literally just use your arm on that side and push the choke arm clear when it even starts to feel like the guy is moving it under your neck. As long as you do it before he gets his hands clasped, you don't even need much pressure to push the arm down over the back of your head and clear it. Fili legit just made a white belt bjj mistake.
