Which of these is better to watch if you haven't watched Star Trek for a while. Heard Picard is a little woke but unlike other Star Trek shows is pretty graphic. Discovery is like a modernized continuation of the franchise. If you have watched both or some of both which would be the better one to binge?

Honestly if you like Star Trek pre-2000 I wouldn't really suggest watching either.

Started Picard damn dude still looks the same he did in early 90s. Last Trek I wat he'd was the one with the guy from quantum leap it wasn't great. You're saying these 2 are worse?

I never saw the Bakula Star Trek series. But what I've seen from Picard and Discovery is worse than everything else.

But some people seem to like them and I hope you get more out of them than I did.

And yeah I guess the hidden blessing of going bald by 20 like Patrick Stewart or James Tolkan is that you kind of stop aging thereafter.

In a respect, Star Trek spiritually perished with Roddenberry and Nimoy.

This is the intro that Berman and crew (many from TNG) created for Enterprise back in 2001.

I heard Discovery is terribly woke.
I watched Picard S1 and I give it a 5.9/10

The mystery created about who the female android is in Picard, was kind of anti climaxed.

Haven't seen Picard, but Discovery is terrible.

You could put that song right over the opening sequence for Full House, Growing Pains or Family Ties and most people wouldn't bat an eye.

I have never watched an episode of Enterprise because of this intro. What the actual fuck were they thinking??

Picard can be summed up as "old man bumbles his way around and gets his ass saved repeatedly by strong female characters #1-10".
I watched it, I'm not sure why, and I regret it.

Discovery was so awful that I've purged it from my memory, much like Mir vs. CroCop.

I watched the first couple episodes of Picard. It was ok. The best was the episode with Data but Brent spiner got fat so it was a bloated face version of data.

I heard in Picard he finally dicks down Beverly and they actually show it.
