I've only had it once. At a sushi place in South Florida that I think was operated by Filipinos, so they put a few Filipino items on the menu. It was alright, but I want to go to a proper Filipino place. I've heard good things about lumpia, lechon. I'd even try balut. I doubt there are any around here (I live in Boston area), though.

I go full gluttonous American in the Philippines and literally oppress the people in their own country when it comes to sisig.

Seriously if there's a plate of sizzling sisig in my presence, its mine by right of seuzure. I don't care if they're starving, I won't let them have any. That boiled/fried pork face is just too damn good.
