This confirms it, Rampage vs McGeary has to happen!

Well, since this is a tentpole event, I'm thinking Minakov vs Lashley or another legends fight for the main evento.

The Thomson vs Chandler fight means no fight for Brooks, they are just punishing that guy at this point.

Thats some bullshit, I'd be furious if I were Davis and Brooks. I wanted Liam/Davis cause it would be a good fight, I dont think Rampage has much left at this point, that Fabio fight sucked.

Chandler/Thomson I like but Brooks should be getting the Thomson fight, Bellator throwing him under the bus.

Not necessarily.. They could book Brook vs Girtz and it wouldn't be outrageous.
 
Also stupid to knock off Mo/Davis but I guess they want Rampage ratings more.

Coudl have had Davis next, give Mo a warm up, he gets winner and Rampage/Tito happens.

Should Rampage win and sticks around then he could get a title fight after Davis and Mo.

Oh, didn't know about that injury.. Alot of Bellator LWs coming off L's.. maybe throw Derek Anderson out there?

Yeah, Girtz will be out for awhile. Only possible contenders I can think of at the moment are Patricky or Anderson.

Weird and kinda sad to think that if Rampage vs McGeary happens, it will be the last Bjorn tournament fight. Little over two years after Bjorn got fired. Rampage fucked shit up in his first two fights in Bellator and did a great job of neutralizing King Mo. Give him the title shot, pls.

Brooks has a right to be pissed but for Phil Davis it is just kind of bad luck. Rampage earned the title shot first, it just looked like he was leaving so they announced a new number 1 contender. But yea, Brooks is getting straight up screwed and punished.

Rampage is def the bigger fight so based on going for ratings/ticket sales Rampage is in and Davis is out.

Question is did Davis say I wont wait till summer or was he passed up and had no choice?

I get the move from Bellators POV, they only have Page for two fights it sounds like, use him now in a title fight for ratings nad to build Liam up.

Then you use him in a Kimbo or Tito or Mo rematch and win or lose you get another ratings fight out of him and then if he wants to leave whatever.

As for Brooks he's def on Bellators shit list, he aint getting anything. Unless they get together and work out a new deal and smooth shit out he's not getting a big fight.

Sounds like he has two fights left or time expires sometime I think after summer so they could just give him a fight vs Derek Anderson and then just sit on him and let his contract expire rather than feeding him any big name fights to boost his stock/hurt Bellators div on his way out.

I doubt they release him with two fights but they let Eddie go in the same situation with one fight left to avoid hurting the div on his way out. WOuldnt be surprised if after one more fight they do the same with Brooks.

Brooks smashes Thomson and Bendo is a toss up, last thing you want is him having beaten your 5 best LW before leaving.
 
Came out of left field a big. Must have been part of the reason Rampage came back. I really don't mind though.

Liam and Rampage for the title will be a big one.
 
Maybe they can talk Bendo into fighting Ill Will
