PBP PFL vs. Bellator: Champs, Sat. 2/24, 12:30 PM ET/9:30 AM PT PBP Discussion Thread

Calf kicks are easier to block than normal leg kicks

Its just that in MMA there are 100 different things you need to prioritize learning in the gym -- and few will put dealing with leg kicks highly among them.
Well said

Bellator has a few good fighters at the top. However, where they severely lack is at the mid to lower levels, they have no quality depth. Sometimes watching their prelims and early fights is like watching some bush league arena fights at a local ymca gym.

While Impa's story is fantastic the level of comp he beat was very low.
Eblen should dominate this and hopefully it gives him some hype to casual fans but I doubt this tells us anything the Tokov fight didn't.

So PFL saw the UFC come up with the BMF gimmick and thought, hey we can do better. We'll make it combine with a ring and give away a ton of them in the same night?
Apparently they also called Francis the HW champion, despite the fact that the HW belt's on the line tonight. And there was another HW title fight earlier.

PFL with 3 HW champs.

Jackson gets to sit on a throne for beating Ray Cooper lol

I wouldn't mind seeing Francis vs Bader. But I think Francis would be too much for him tbh at this point.

The BMF gimmick cracks me up. You can’t advertise being the baddest motherfucker when either of the two guys fighting above you could beat both of the guys fighting for the BMF title
