PBP PFL Road to Dubai Champions Series: Nurmagomedov vs. Hughes ***Sherdog Discussion*** 1/25 11AM ET (MAX)

Usman didn´t get exposed but he was just fighting a tough azz Paul Hughes the true Irishman humble and hard working. These are the dangerous type of fighters. He nearly upset him. I was impressed by his core strength a very good anti-wrestler fighter and super super tough

Lol what.....

He never speaks when his guys fight, he always tries makes it about them.

Khabib is classy.
He grabs the mic every fight and always makes sure he's in the camera shot.

Fuck off with this revisionist nonsense.

This was a consistency vs. moments judging situation in my opinion. Usman showed more consistency picking away for large portions of the fight with less big moments. Hughes had big moments but was losing in between.
Fair take.

Draw for me. Milking that headbutt changed the momentum for Hughes.

Run it back.
Especially considering the fact that it had more of an effect on Hughes. The longer he bled out, the more the blood was starting to get into his eyes.

You're not that smart. Edgar got that gift from American Judges while neither fighter was from that area. Doug Crosby and his rant about Penn fans online soon after was the icing on the cake.

I'm so happy Sal D'Amato, Crosby and Andy Roberts were inept only in the UAE.

So yes...

You're not that smart to understand that the place clearly isn't fit for holding legitimate events, just showcases for whatever the oil tycoons want.

Which fine, but don't call these professional fights with records on the line when every time an event happens it always seem to look like some oil money was moved behind the scenes.

"Grabs the mic" Lol Dan Hardy always goes out of his way to interview him in the cage & PFL are the ones behind dumb decisions like having him on camera the entire time for the corner cam like vs Shabliy.

Man I like this guy and I hate Irish fighters, that was the only fight worth watching on the card but wow it was really good. That might of been closer to a draw with the point (which was well deserved and they need to take it every-time in championship fights as the top guys from both leagues are using nuts/eyes as a way to get rest I think or eek the the advantage and its bullshit) so Usman might lose the rematch with the determination and drive the Irish dude seems to have. Crazy stuff

You're an idiot. Truly.

The scoring criteria specifically says that those big moments are what's meant to win the fight, provided they contribute to possibly ending the fight.

I wish PFL advertised better because I missed this fight, but it sounds like a good one.
Like all good teams it seems people are catching up to the Dagi's wrestling wise.

You do know Khabib coached fighters literally last week in the UFC too right dude?

Why are you acting like this was a egregious robbery?

Sometimes people on sherdog will send me an alert. You could likely get the hey your missing out but this event was not good overall. Final fight was worth it.
