Really frustrating fight to be honest. There's been like four fouls to stop the action, and then there's hughes who does well when he goes, but throws so damn little that it doesn't really matter.

Think he knew it wasn't worth trying to get up with a min to go, not with Usman settling right down on him like that. Might have been different if Usman was trying to advance position and create openings for Paul, but he wasn't. He was just trying to get some top time.

Incidental. No one at fault on that headbutt, imo. I would agree with you if Usman didn't take the headbutt to the side of his head by his ear and if Hughes didn't pop up thirty seconds after he looked like the ball shot killed him.

Usman benefitted but it was just circumstance. There’s just some narrative searching to downplay a potential victory. You’re gonna get that with these Dagi boys, a large portion of sherdog does not like them.

Haven't watched much of him but betreen this fight and the AJ one, he seems like a Yan/Chito type of fighter. Slow start but turns it on later rounds. He really needs to go for it this 5th round though.
