i think at this point, the production of the UFC is the worst.
I’d pay ppv to watch Chatri vs Dana in a three round fight…. Winner gets Coker.Yeah ONE is sketchy as fuuuuuuck but they put on the best fights and production outside the UFC.
Bellator - Awful production, awful commentary/analysis teams, cursed fights on the regular.
PFL - Tourney format forces guys to often fight extremely safe and boring. Confusing rules made up on the spot sometimes. Too much clutter on the screen blocking the actual fighting.
I don't mind Bellator, but the announce team is dog shit and the card the other night was trash. Surely there has to be more talent out there that these organisations can acquire.Of the larger orgs, only One Championship puts on consistently exciting fights with a nice production setup nowadays. Lots of sketchy practices from what I've read, and most of their champs are prob no more than top 15 in the world, but the product is good for what it is. I should note I don't watch smaller orgs like Cage Warriors and I don't really keep up with Rizin though the events I've seen have been fun.
...Let's get you a jump to conclusions mat.
no because a win in the first round is worth 6 points (a win by decision doesn't earn bonus points). They have an excellent meritocratic format.PFL - Tourney format forces guys to often fight extremely safe and boring. Confusing rules made up on the spot sometimes.
First time watching PFL cause there's no UFC this week. It is such a inferior product, their constant appeal to social media, announcers with their horrible voices, and the lack of any drama in the fights.
Also, their round rating thing is weird and I don't like it. The best thing so far might be one of the announcers grilling that expert bettor guy as his parlay was failing.
This really makes me appreciate the UFC so much more. Give me Daniel Cormier and Michael Bisping on the announcer table over these fools.
Sadibou Sy is kind of a boring fighter, but in terms of winning fights, he's gotten better every year. He won the whole tournament last year which is why he got the million dollars. They didn't pay him that because they think he's a draw. And firing one of your champs between seasons would be a pretty terrible look.Yeah I don't follow it. They've got guys like Sam Kei (now 8-7) in a tournament bracket for a million. They paid Sadibou Sy a millions season when the guy was awful in the previous god knows how many seasons. Guys like that should be replaced the following season if they're shit.

Bellator has some talented fighters yet their main cards always somehow have some fuckery involved and incredibly boring fights near the top. Not to mention rankings are an even bigger joke than UFC's. The grand prix's have overall been great though and Usman is an exciting LW champ.I don't mind Bellator, but the announce team is dog shit and the card the other night was trash. I also like Onefc they produce a quality product
I would agree on many fronts, but putting on most of the highest level fights in all weight classes besides smaller ones makes up for the lack of creativity, amateur hour detail mistakes, ridiculous sponsorship rules, tweets on the screen even though fans are back, biased commentary.... wait...i think at this point, the production of the UFC is the worst.
I know it's hard to pick but are there any events you'd say are worth tracking down start to finish? Or generally just watch some of the best fights? I don't love the glam enough to hunt down rare events just for openings but might be cool to watch something different if there are some you'd recommend.hahaha. 100% when the UFC is fucking on, it is fucking on and there is no denying it. they can get by on thier 2010 visuals and set up. Pride was the culmination of aesthetics, production, top tier talent coming together for sure.
No elbows tho. And if you go near the ropes on the ground,25 japanese guys hit you w flyswattersBros why u train ufc? Should train Pride for you can soccer kick, knees to the head on ground is normal
I don't like the elbow rules and the production is def rough but you make me wanna watch more. I'm just lazy to watch whole cards after being conditioned by shitty UFC prelims the past like 8 years at least and shitty top to bottom bellator cards lol.I dont mind PFL at all...
T.s sounds picky lol.
The announcers r annoying? ...like Anik the Ad robot or michaels 3 sheets to the wind Bisping or Muh Wrestling Cormier cant get annoying sometimes???..dont forget Ohhhh hes rocked (punch didn't even land ) Joe Rogan...
Weird thing to hate on a promotion for...
Not everyone can afford Bas Rutten ...okay?
PFL has Ref cam....thats awesome
PFL is strongly rooted in a sport format...with early victories giving the most points ... fantastic for action right off the bat.
PFL doesnt care if you can talk...they welcome it...but they want to know you can WIN too...Conor is winless in 7 years.....how many tournaments would that have been in PFL? ...but but UFC guys....
PFL is the sport forward MMA league ...its perfect for people who want to know who's the best competitively...not who can run around YELLING I KIELL EVERYBODY'S DOESNT MATRER WEIGHT CLASS ..then miss weight by 8.5 lbs lol..
All PFL is missing is some more key talent from the UFC to trickle down and they will likely pass the UFC ... Especially the way the UFC fucks winners over for mouthpieces when it comes to title shots... someone like Belal or Dariush comes over and more and more guys will sign to PFL...
This is like WCW and WWF back in the day with the UFC slowly becoming late season WCW if there not careful ...
Fighters dont want to go on 10 fight win streak beating contenders only to not get a shot at the title... meanwhile they could of won two tournament for a 1 mil a piece plus unrestricted sponsorship pay
Sorry ...went on a rant... Made some good points but i snapped..have a read lol
