Ofcourse he was
He did look like his usual self.....that's the problem...he is a simply a good... but not great ....fighter....I saw this from his very first ufc fight....Yan will always have problems with fighters that take the fight to him and when Yan cannot control the paceHe didn't look like his usual self. That's unfortunate. Props to Merab, he was the better man. Yan will be back. Will always support him
He looked flatter and slower because Merab took out his lead leg early. That calf kick in the first caused Yan to switch stances and he was never really able to adjust after that.Yeah he looked flatter and slower than usually. And he fatigued uncharacteristically but fighters are always injured and it was a mauling.

In all fairness he usually spends a round or two just feeling someone out and warming up conserving energy. Merab made him fight an all gas and no brakes style fight every second start to finish. Injured or not we never seen Yan have to exert himself remotely close to this.
Krylov from the same event. I think he listed multiple injuries including knee injury and even said that if the fight lasted all 3 rounds he wouldn’t win (something like his body would gave up).Injuries are never
mentioned if the fights are won
Yeah, I looked at mmafighting.com and there is only speculation that Kunitskaya fought pregnant (she denied it) and back in Strikeforce days Coker said that Dandois withdrew from the fight because she is 3 months pregnant which if true means that she fought when she was 2 months pregnant.I don't believe any woman has knowingly fought pregnant. I googled and couldn't find anything on this.
