I enjoyed her commentary, brought some fresh air and she is isn't too serious, which is a plus in my book. She can joke around with Bisping.

It doesnt matter if she's talking sense, a high pitched womans voice just doesn't right commentating on a fight. Hell, most men dont' have the voice for it.

Its fine if its golf or tennis or something but even on soccer, it fucking ruins it.

I love Laura Sanko and if there’s any woman that deserves to do it, it’s probably her, but I agree.

The same thing happened recently with my NHL hockey. ESPN brought in woman announcers this season and sometimes their voice will literally ruin a game. I watch sports to relax and you got this high pitched nagging voice that doesn’t fit in. But Sanko is better than the hockey commentary women

They've started doing it with the football (soccer) & it completely ruins the game. Soccer commentary requires you to a) be quite critical of the players at times, & b) start shouting/growling when something important happens, & a high-pitched female voice just sounds terrible. It's like a nagging wife. It completely takes you out of the moment & I literally turn games because of it. You need a deep male voice.

Again, when Laura Davies is on the golf, its fine. She's actually excellent. But I wouldnt want to listen to hear talk over a knockout either.

I think Sanko is ok. Unfortunately there's a lot of White Knights on here who are making too big a deal out of her commentating. I definitely give her credit for educating herself, because there are a lot of fighters and commentators/analysts who still don't know the official MMA rules when it comes to judging, and she went out and got certified.





On the unfortunate side, she has an unusually long neck.

It’s Laura Sanko , I give her credit because she actually fought MMA a few times. She does alright on commentary , I don’t think she had enough practice, she still does the “ooohs and awwwws” like a fan. But she’s getting better.

Yeah I thought she was ok. Seems sometimes she says things in an awkward way or like if someone who wasn't super knowledgeable about something was trying to describe something specific, intelligently.

She's not annoying to listen to though, so that's good.

She'll continue to get better.

She actually started out in Invicta, back when Invicta was basically a dedicated feeder league for the UFC.

She was doing good work back then as well.

I know she fought in Invicta, but did she also commentate there too? I was talking only about her UFC career at any rate.
