Dan was always very very accurate. He actually evolved in a lot of departments before calling it quits.
Perry is a tough chinned hard hitter. I'd compare him to slightly improved Phil Baroni, minus Baroni's decent wrestling.

His gameplan was poor. Throwing huge shots in the first round that Griffin saw coming from a mile away and that were draining his gas tank, while getting tagged himself. Should have fought smarter. Perhaps having someone in his corner with good advice could help.

He needs to throw more straight, light punches to set up the bombs and he needs to become better at feinting and moving his feet. It's too easy for opponents to avoid the big ones if that's all that's coming. His relatively short reach is a problem in that regard though. Either that or get better with his takedowns, jitz or kicks. Anyway, he needs something more than just power and a chin. Fun fighter, though.
