Two Friday memes back to back. Love it.

If true - dropping out - this is the 2nd time in a row that he was sick (compromised) to the point of almost pulling out of the fight.

Anyhow, hopefully no austrailia trips during the rematch camp.

Yeah, doubt it was actually norovirus but it seems like he was battling something, he was uncharacteristically timid in his striking offense. Seems like he had to devote all his remaining energy to just stopping the takedowns.
And apparently puckering his ass so he does not lose via pants-shitting.

Poatan via ko in the rematch, he just needed a bunch of rounds to figure out the range

<BC1>

I mean, maybe he should stay put and, you know, not be traveling the world and weakening his immune system and exposing himself to a ton of sick people while he's supposed to be in training camp. If he was sick. But if the belt means everything, then shitting your pants should be an option.

All makes sense now. So in a way, alex didnt lose. I think now, I have the courage to put back my chama avatar and show the world, I am a alex fan.

hey, that's the game. Jamahal Hill was coming off a knee surgery to fight him, Jiri was coming off a huge layoff and shoulder surgery to fight him the first time. that's the game. you can't fight everyone at your best, accept it.

hell, Leon had actual staph in his elbow and nobody gives a shit, they just say he got his ass kicked, nobody is fretting about how much the staph could've taken out of him the way they are with this ALLEGED norovirus. all of Pereira's excuses have zero evidence and are basically rumors at this point.
Well alex hasn't actually stated any of the rumors are true.

It's everyone else saying what his condition was,
If and a big if, he did have a broken hand and a virus. He went into the fight with issues...

Jamal and jiri were already healed and rehabbed to go into the fight. There's a huge difference

they should have UFC branded butt plugs, would solve a lot of dropouts

figuratively and literally speaking

His activity was so high that his body was running low on Chama. I would also like to take a brief moment to address the greasing allegations and Brazilians. To quote the Great Wanderlei Silva, 'Hey!! It's a fight! It's a fight..."

Contemplating dropping out?

I'm sick of the best camp ever, feel 100%, this is the best version of myself talk before a fight and the injury, sickness bad circumstances talk after losing a fight.

I said it during the first round already, that his hands must be broken. Imagine the most aggresdive striker we have not throwing 1 punch in 25min. You know sth must be really wrong, no need for any other confirmation than that. But that being said, he wasnt well prepared, you cant be in frking South Korea then Australia doing media tours 2 weeks before your fight, its not professional.

Someone needs to tell Pereira to chill then. Enough with the media tours.

Did you watch the video? Pereira repeatedly says he doesn't want to give details because he doesn't want it to appear like he's making an excuse.

It's Joe who put this out there and he's responding to it.

Honestly it's refreshingly classy of him to "no comment" this shit.

Yeah, doubt it was actually norovirus but it seems like he was battling something, he was uncharacteristically timid in his striking offense. Seems like he had to devote all his remaining energy to just stopping the takedowns.
yes, he was battling a well rounded fighter who did more than stand in front of him and try and kickbox with him like his last opponents and couldnt instill his normal game plan. Any other reason is just bullshit excuses.

what a load of utter nonsense, ' hes all class because he wont say' But yet hes still making excuses.
Utter bollocks, if he was all class he would just say ,
' because I wasnt good enough on the night and Ank was the better man'
That, is class.

Ehhh if I see the rematch where Pereira lights him up with boxing maybe I'll believe the broken hands and virus thing. Until then I'm expecting Ank never gave him anything close range to work with.
