It seems no matter where I go, I see people glued to their phones....like they're in a trance or something. At the restaurant, at the arena for the game or concert, at work and school, in the club, at the movies.....walking down the street..lol. Has the zombie apocalypse already begun, cause that's what i see when i look at these people.

Sad thing is, its not only the under 25 crowd anymore either....old grown ass adults are also infected. I can understand if you use it for work as I do, but most people are just chatting away, on social media or playing games. This cant be a good thing for the human race.....can it??

I'm like that. All I do is work, and unfortunately, I travel a lot too. It sucks, but a necessary evil for me. At least for now.

that's me, even on theaters I still open sherdog

goddamn u sherdog, wasted 11 years here

I try to never look at my phone when in a restaurant. Quite hard i must say. My GF hates smartphones so she gives me the bad looks when i do.

the worst is the anti social IT computer nerds with their androids and shit. Think they are like tech gurus and stuff and like to argue over operating systems.

thats because tv's phones and computers can put people in to a trance like state

I went to WWE Raw this Monday at the Staples Center and this fat slob in front of me spent the whole 3 hours on Facebook. It was annoying as fuck.

It doesnt bother me. I would rather them be on their phone than trying to make small talk to me.

I dont want to tell you how my day is going asshole and I know what the weather is.

Ironically most of us are probably using a phone to read this thread.

fucking millennials.

Its because literally everything is on your phones and there's so much shit to look at, that it's a great way to pass idle time. It is lame to be on your phone at dinner or the movies or something like that, but if you're on the bus or train or waiting somewhere, looking at your phone is just a way to pass time.

It bothers me too. I try to stay off mine around other people. But like someone else said, it is better than them trying to talk to me.

If you are in a room with 10 other people and most of them are on the phone or looking away then you're going to whip your phone out too and endlessly refresh your social media apps. It's just how the world works brah

Just a way to pass time... nothing new really..

I get caught up too so I try to be mindful and use my phone as less as possible - especially at home.

Mid west doesn't like to use their phones though and I respect that. Stood in line for an hour at a popular restaurant and there were only two of us using it - both from Cali. We must've looked annoying to the locals.
