Now that someone survived the 1st RD against Ngannou and made him gas, Sherdoggers think decent wrestling and good fight IQ are all it takes to beat him.

Bullshit lol. You can't "Just survive the first round", surely its not that simple. Just because Stipe had the boxing, speed, and awareness on the feet to deal with Ngannou's onslaught, doesn't mean other top HW's can do the same. Overeem couldn't do it and his striking defense is as good as it gets (compared to other HWs) in last 2 years...
The blueprint is basically "to be good enough fighter all around"
Honestly, I think people need to focus on what Stipe did right instead of looking at what Ngannou did wrong, to analyze the fight correctly.
Both Stipe and Ngannou are being massively underrated on Sherdog during the UFC 220 aftermath
