People think Nate will win the rematch? LOL

What impression? Conor had the first fight, till he became stupid and made stupid moves. His gameplan, will be different in this fight...I don't see a loss this time..

Good ole "he was winning till he lost theory". A win is a win, and Nate didn't just catch him. He landed a boat load of strikes, then pieced him up on the feet and became the aggressor midway through round 2 then subbed Conor.

Aldo didn't get caught though, that was just Conor's masterful technique. Pretty sad that you can't tell the difference

I like the fighter - he just got caught
I don't like the fighter - masterful technique, KTFO yeahhh

The only sad thing here is your nuthuggery

Conor got caught. It happens to the best of fighters. It happened to GSP, Anderson (heel hook), Stipe, Cain, Hendricks, Lawler (vs Nate), dos Anjos and many others. People are acting like that soul performance is a defining moment in the spectacular career of Conor McGregor. It's not. Nate is a person that does not rise to the occasion. In terms of choking, he is on par with Kenny Florian. He couldn't get it done in his fight with Bendo, Thompson or RDA yet "people" are acting like he is some person that can always beat one of the most clever and elusive fighters at welterweight. Conor will rematch Nate (he got the fight because the first one was a fluke victory) and this time he will put away Diaz early in the 1st. All you doubters are free to bump this thread after the fight for shaming purposes.

LONG LIVE THE KING!

Nice trolling brah..... I wanna see this account active after the fight though when Diaz smokes him like a blunt again.

You must have not watched. Diaz was getting lit up and landing some lame jabs. When he tried to take it to the ground he got reversed almost instantly.

Every single site has Conor winning the first round easily and winning the 2nd round until the flurry if you look at play-by-plays.

I don't think you understood what was happening. Conor had a high pace and landing well, and Nate was landing also. Momentum shifted as Conor was slowing down and starting to gas; while Nate turned things up to 2nd and 3rd gear, eventually overwhelming him with 1-2's then cutting through him with grappling.

What's funny is it was a classic Diaz gameplan. Nick did the exact same thing to BJ. BJ had the better strikes in round 1, started slowing in the 2nd. Nick tasted blood in the water and turned up the intensity to land combo after combo, and easily won the fight.

Nate also did something really similar to Michael Johnson. Eventually the cardio goes and the chin gives out. The strategy doesn't always work when Diaz gets outwrestled, can't push the cardio, or is leg kicked to death.

Nate will do the same thing in the rematch so long as his chin stays intact.

hoyle1911 gets it, the Diaz plan is usually engage in later rounds where their cardio is noticeably better then their opponents. It doesn't always work for Nick but for Nate it works well, as Nate usually only loses to strong wrestlers or when heavy leg kicks take out the lead leg due to their stance. Connor has neither of those strengths.

You're picking Diaz over Conor in the rematch? You're a brave man. Why don't you post your betting slip brave man?

Lmao uh yeah it's pretty easy to understand what was happening, Conor was kicking his ass and got caught with a big punch.

If you actually look at the stats Diaz was throwing MORE strikes in round-1 than round-2 so your theory doesn't hold up that he was increasing his pace.

Nick kicked BJ's ass because he was completely out of shape fighting at 170 and gassed out, Conor didn't gas out after 7 minutes of fighting lol

Maybe you should watch more fights dude I don't think you understand what was happening, Conor was landing his punches at a higher rate and with more power and closing in on a finishing strike just like against Mendes and Siver and then he got caught, happens to everyone. It's amazing the gymnastics you guys try to preform to try and prove Nate was competitive before he rocked McGregor.

The only thing I saw or read was soul performance. Yes Nate did take his soul.

Don't compare getting caught by big punch or heel hook to a guy being completely and utterly dominated in stand up and softened up before having another man mount his back like a hunted animal and strangling him into submission. They aren't the same at all.

Why not confident that Nate will win? I can't blame you, he's lost 10 of his 30 fights, that's pretty bad for a fighter
Yeah you're right, it's pretty bad when Conor gets owned by a guy that sucks so bad like Nate Diaz right?

Where's YOUR betting slip, troll boy?

As a Conor fan TS, I would like to believe that. I really do want him to win the rematch, and it's very possible that he could. But I'm realistic. He didn't get caught, he fought with a bad strategy against a tough opponent who is a bad matchup. A big problem for Conor is getting hypnotized by the hype and becoming a puncher. He started relying less on his slick counterstriking skills and more on his chin and power. He also raced for the KO against Nate and gassed out. Even though he was getting busted up Nate did a great job of deflecting things and then took over when Conor ran out of gas. This could happen again if Conor doesn't fight smart.

Says the moron who claims it was a fluke and doesn't have a betting slip of his own lmao

Personally I can't stand Diaz and I think he is a mediocre fighter, it just so happens that he is still better than the so called GOAT. I thoroughly enjoyed the finish and even though I wouldn't mind Conor winning, a part of me would be happy to see Conor get wrecked again so that shit posters like you can go into hiding.

It'll happen again regardless of how Conor shows up. He lost to Nate Diaz who took the fucking fight on 10 days notice who was partying on a boat in Cabo! You better believe the Nate Diaz that showed up for Michael Johnson is the same Nate Diaz that'll be there at 202. That's a scary fucking thought, busta. And with all Conor's excuse making, he hasn't learned a damn thing since they last fought. Still lost in his own delusional hype and still runs with Ido Portal.

Conor isn't knocking Nate out and he DAMN sure isn't gonna submit him. Conor's gas tank has never been that good and Nate is KNOWN for endurance as well as durability. I see this fight going down much like the last time Diaz fought Gray Maynard, only Conor will go down in the 2nd or 3rd round and he will have decent moments in the fight. But I see Nate finishing Conor on the feet this time. And lol @ the upcoming press conferences. What the fuck can Conor possibly say to Nate?

It makes no sense for Nate to win...

He's clearly a troll. I just bit a little bit of the bait because I'm a hungry fella. But I broke his line and swam away free with the food.

I can't rule out Conor losing, but I think you only see what you want to see. Conor has already changed his training. He's been training with Olympic boxers and high level BJJ guys since then and a big part of the spat with the UFC over the press conference was him trying to focus on revamped training for cardio. People get hung up on Ido Portal but Kavanaugh has said that he only comes in at the end when their main training has been completed. Certainly if he takes the same approach in the rematch he will lose, but pretending that he can't change, can't improve or has no chance at winning is pure hate. Nate is not some invincible fighting machine and Conor is not some bum off the street. The key to beating Nate will be attacking his lead leg.

Why is it that people like you always think they are being baited. Just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't make it bait. Growing up is hard, take it in strides. Although, I guess you are mature as your hero Nate

Dude, McGregor having problems with Nate Diaz is already enough fun for me. i don't even care if he wins or not. He ran his ass out of the 145 division, will never defend his belt (as we all know, you're only a true champion until you defend it) and it smart enough to not give Aldo a rematch or fight anyone else for the belt because he knew if he loses it, it would make the 13 seconds win look like a fluke.

This guy will soon retire, someone just gotta punch him hard enough and he'll leave. And if that someone is nate diaz, that shows how good McGregor really is and i can already imagine how far he'd go.
