First I don't know what you listen to but I've never heard a single sponsor mentioned on Rogan's podcast, maybe because I'm using Chrome with an Ad-Blocker and you simply can't figure that out. Second I will always take the opportunity to listen certain people talk regardless of the host. My favorite podcaster currently is Lex Fridman who has been a guest a couple of times on Rogan's podcast. His podcasts are nothing but the best of the best from AI research, physicists, mathematicians, programmers, etc. Where did he get his start? Rogan.
This thread is full of people who can't figure how to avoid sponsor ads and for the most part have never really listened to the podcasts that contain really interesting and bright people. The only person whose IQ is dropping is mine because of the amount of incredible ignorance of those in this thread. Rogan can be a doofus, an absolute doofus, but he has very good guests from time to time and he isn't a bad conversationalist particularly when the guest is from the sciences as he realizes he is out of his league, plus he has genuine curiosity.
