I guess technically they still are.

But when a fighter has a reputation of scariness based on brutally finishing his opponents, he's a fraud if he cannot do the same without PEDs.

Athletes have been using PEDS to rise to much higher level than their normal abilities for a LONG time.

If you are against PEDS in MMA then be happy that the tide is turning, the new testing is exposing those who can't fight effectively without the sauce and before long they won't be able to juice at least while in the UFC (but I am sure they will still juice all the way up until then and then try to get away with whatever they can) Also, new PEDS will come out, giving brief windows of opportunities to cheat, and there is always blood doping....

as long as there is money to be made and highly competitive people trying to make their way to the top there will be cheaters, always have been, always will be.

Guys who love USADA will end up watching a sport that resembles amateur wrestling/NAGA, which will be a huge barn-burner as far as income generation and viewership goes. Who doesn't want to watch the 2 top guys in the org, Geroge Roop and Cody Pfister, go at it event after event in random catchweight last minute replacement bouts?

What good is being the best clean fighter in the UFC when you know there are dudes on PED's who can fuck you up as soon as you leave the arena? The guy who can kick everyones ass while on PEDs in the UFC can still kick their asses while on PEDs and not a UFC fighter. For sure we know that the best overall fighters will not be in the UFC in the near future.
