Yeah. But a Republican controlled House and Senate may very well pass it. So it's probably worth talking about what a shitty bill this is.

I understand your need to deflect though.

You need 60 votes to pass in the senate and unlike the checks and balance demolishing democrats..republicans have never shown any desire to abolish the filibuster…and this won’t even get a vote on the house floor

I'd rather republicans don't introduce such shit bills in the first place.

And again, everyone is watching you duck this and just beg us not to talk about it.

Like I said, any one representative can introduce a bill without it being a party effort. Every representative has their name on shit bills that will never see a vote. This is what those people spend most of the time “at work” doing. You’ll get no argument from me that most of these people are slapdicking over there.

But this bill has no traction whatsoever.

This was the point I was getting at. I feel like we are going to hear a lot of "this won't happen." After a while of hearing this so much maybe it is time to start judging people who are bring this stuff up rather than simply saying it won't happen. Because essentially it is the apparent good guys that are coming up with this BS. It's like some of my previous posts where I said they are just going to bombard the system with this stuf that eventually something will get through.

Like the war room posters who said project 2025 wouldn't happen only for everything Trump did his first week being exactly P2025?

same dude intro'd the bill many years ago. i think even this government wouldnt pass it

The filibuster is a loophole, not a check or balance.

Your guys did such an awful job they lost all their seats. It's the other guys' turn now. If they do a bad job, maybe your guys can win some seats back. For now, you'll just have to bend over and take it.

I seem to recall some government official trying to use osha to force people to take an experimental vaccine. I wonder if that has any role here or not. Not saying I’m for this but I’m definitely for having a real conversation around legislation clearly defining oshas roles and getting this into court for clear lines being drawn

It’s just an introduced bill. Any representative can introduce a bill. It doesn’t mean anything.
This... it looks like it's due to perceived overreach of osha (Federal) on vaccine mandates vs states rights but yeah... its a bad bill that will not get through congress. Also, the house is full of idiots. Strangest things always come from there.

This, 100%. And because there's such a large volume much that gets through will go completely unnoticed, and things will get worse and worse without people even noticing.
