100% agree. Usyk is younger too. He can't punch. 12rds is dangerous and Wilder didn't stop Fury though that 1st fight could have been a walk off KO by 99% of refs. I think Fury is too big.

I would love Usyk vs Fury and AJ vs Wilder but AJ is on his bicycle and selling out stadiums making millions to crush cans.

Boxing is annoying AF. If Fury fought Wilder 3x, he isn't shook over Usyk. AJ is chinny and he couldn't stop him.

Would love the fight. Respect to RyGar and Tank. So sick of boxing ducking big fights. Mma is huge because they give us what we want. Mma & ufc are a blessing.

.I agree - garcia must have known Davis was a very dangerous opponent. He had guts to put his unbeaten on the line knowing he was more likely than not to lose it.
 
Except one guy can punch a whole through concrete and the other can't bust a grape. Gonna be a bad night for Jon, Sergei will put him lights out.

I am pissed off his team didn't protect him. He needed more fights. I think Tank is in prime and Garcia isn't there yet. Still young.

I'm happy he wasnt ktfo. He ate a flush left rd2 and was fine. Lessee men would be u conscious still.

Garcia could have used a year or a few fights to better prepare.

I hope we see Tank vs winner of Dev/Loma.
 
Jones will retire before he accepts a Pav fight. He already got his big payday. Maybe he’ll fight Stipe, maybe he won’t, but he definitely won’t accept a last minute switcheroo from the UFC. Remember that he scrapped a whole card rather than fight Chael last minute. He’s definitely not accepting Pav last minute or even with tons of notice.

The whole cadence of this fight would've been completely different had Jairzinho Rozenstruik simply ducked under and gone for a takedown.

The amateurishness of backing straight-up like this, against a bigger, taller foe is about the worst mistake that can be made.
And the flailing, over-swinging efforts of Ngannou were equally amaterurish.

Still, Ngannou got the KO, but he wouldn't have against a truly high-level striker.

Stipe is hard to KO and it took an extra round. Gane is very hard to KO, especially when you need a new knee.

Pav looks very impressive but there are some favourable circumstances around his streak. Both BB and Tai had been KOd going into their fights with Pav. Tai had just taken a sustained beating before being KOd 3 months before fighting Pav and BB had just been knocked out cold by Tai leading into the fight. Blaydes was his first real significant test, and even though he looked really good, Francis KO’d him in the first round too.

If Pav can KO Gane that would solidify him as the singular KO king, that or KO Francis himself.

For sure this would be an interesting matchup, and for sure I would pay to see it happen — but calling something that hasn't even happened yet "the most amazing fight ever" ?? :rolleyes::rolleyes:

Um, that is a bit of a stretch.

People thought the same about Ngannou versus Lewis ... two powerful guys facing each other ... and we all know how that went ,,, both were "afraid to get hit" <45>
 
It is the clear fight that should be made. Unfortunately Jon likely wants none of it. And wants to cherry pick a second fight in a row with an old and inactive Stipe coming off a loss. Hopefully us doubters are wrong about that and Jon nuts up. Be a bit of a bad look if he waited this long to finally go to HW, and then conveniently dodges the 2 most dangerous guys he could fight in the process by either waiting for them to leave, or fighting someone else and leaving himself before he has to step up to it.

That being said i'm not going to be the type that says he's dodging this because he absolutely loses. I think Jon could definitely win. He just dosen't seem interested in the actual challenge, seems to more just want to cherry pick the accolade since his ego has him so obsessed with declaring himself the goat more so than he's actually interested in challenging himself. Which is a real shame coming from one of the greatest talents the sport has ever produced.

UFC def seems to be pushing pav vs jones.

When you see Chael on his channel saying this,you know the UFC wants this. So does everyone else except jones fans.
