Paulo Costa

His gameplan is extremely obvious, fight like shit until Khamzat isn't afraid to accept a fight

Lol, you know Khamzat actually showed up to the fight and Costa didn't, right?

Who did he fight before Izzy though, Romero (which I thought he lost), View attachment 1046265

So before Romero... that's the guys he looked like a beast against....not an impressive resume tbf sir.
Tbf that was a decent progression to a title fight with the hype already established between he and Izzy.

Meanwhile real fighters like Tony had to win a dozen in a row against better fighters (excluding Yoel).

I think they wanted Paulo because he has the "look" that they like.
I honestly don't feel he's ever possessed the skill to be champ...just my opinion of course sir.

Much love

who is in his corner? Because he should change that up. Even if they aren't to blame, he at least needs new faces.

Always seemed like someone who freestyled his fights.

True, but Tony and Max's streaks were a bit of an anomaly, because of Conors interference holding back two weight classes.

I think it’s a lack of quality camps and team to keep him in check along with a bit of a lack of professionalism.

Don’t get me wrong he’s obviously a very dedicated person with discipline.

But he never has a quality plan B for when his first strategy doesn’t work and I think it’s down to poor fight IQ and coaching.
