Just based on what I saw, absolutely not haha. Teh plate isn't exactly close if you have no idea how to throw efficiently. I've seen people mess up their shoulders trying to throw to hard without really knowing how. Usually the team's catcher or whomever walks up to the mound slowly to grab the rolling ball after celebrities toss.

I played Catcher but yeah, I have no idea if it made it to the plate or not. From what I can see there is no video from an alternate angle for us to see if it did.
