You guys are forgetting sonething, this is not a sport its an entertainment product. The Izzy/Costa faceoff was their most viewed one ever, and im assuming did a decent buyrate, that means there would be eyes on a rematch too. Expect to see it happen after Costa wins another fight or two.

Unless Costa turns it around and shows that he can actually be competitive, I doubt many would be interested in a second fight.

The UFC can't just suspend him, or fine him. They can only take away his title, or cut him. The UFC is obviously not going to do that.

This is one reason why we have athletic commissions; they can suspend him or fine him appropriately, just like they did in the Khabib/ Conor situation. Unfortunately, this fight happened in a place without an athletic commission. So, nothing will happen.
