I like Costa but a couple fights before a rematch would do him a lot of good. He’s really good but he needs to improve on tracking down technical and fast fighters like Izzy. There aren’t any fighters in the division that really fight like Izzy but st the least he can put in tons of time in training and camp to try to figure it out and implement some of it in his next fights

Yeah I mean I don’t think he necessarily can ever get to Izzy’s level in striking but he can possibly develop strategies to win. It’s a big MAYBE and not something I’d bet on but either way my point is he needs time to figure shit out as opposed to trying to get back in there with him right away

Imagine getting completely outclassed and finished within two rounds, and thinking that you deserve a rematch.

Costa needs to fight Whittaker, Cannonier, Hermansson, and possibly Romero again (I think that fight could have been scored as a draw anyway) and if he wins all of those fights then MAYBE he can get a rematch with Izzy. Until then, Costa doesn't deserve shit.
