Not big on today's HW boxing scene, but Luis seems like a good prospect. Cuban, so he's probably very well schooled, but Cubans don't produce that many HWs for whatever reason.

I'll have to check him out. And if you wanna watch a great documentary on Cuban boxing academies for kids, watch, 'Sons of Cuba', but you probably already have. Reminds me of those Chinese Olympic trianing centers for kids. Work them like machines.

They don't, but it's very telling Paulie's first reaction was to use the 'throw shit at the wall to see what sticks' approach of excuses.

I don't need to make any excuses for Conor, it's pretty self evident what happened in the footage we do have and from Paulie's ankle biting after it was released.

Whether he was retired or not has no relevance on whether Conor lit him up in that sparring session.

Maybe it's just an angle to sell their eventual fight.

Tbf Kavanagh is not a boxing coach, he was just winging it in a different sport and probably doing what he thought best. Whereas Edmund is supposed to be a striking specialist who's fighters actually get worse at striking under his tutelage.
