Media Paul Craig moving down to MW

I think developing some real striking and wrestling would save his career. Craig's issue is being willing to show aggression in his striking and wrestling despite not being physically out matched. Craig's issues seem more mental instead of physical because from guard he looks like a T-City but anywhere else in the fight he moves like Jared Vanderaa gassed out.
Losing weight just seems like a weird move for a decently big LHW.

He is disgustingly slow at LHW. He is going to be even slower at MW.

Yeah, he would probably do better moving to HW and twisting some low level, grappleless HWs into pretzel.

No serious chance of a title run either, but at least it would be more fun, and without brutal cut.

Still he probably dreams big, so it is what it is.

How many fighters actually do well moving down a division?
The only examples that come readily to mind for me are Andrade and Shevchenko, but they were both fighting up because the UFC didn’t have their natural division. Also Johnson, for the same reason.

Ooof, the blatant weight bully approach when things aren't going well in your natural weight class.

It's too much for him. His chin will be glass and his tank fumes at 185 imo.

This is a bold statement but I think there less talent at LHW than MW
Still, let’s see how it goes

Great news! Although Craig is known for his victories by submission, he is often sacrificed to the JBG. Cutting an extra 20 lbs should make him even more likely to get KO'd in spectacular fashion.

Rountree:

Menifield:

Pedro:

Menifield's KO of Craig is the most impressive, but Rountree KO'd Craig in Glasgow, in his only UFC fight in Scotland, after Craig had foolishly bragged that Rountree couldn't knock him out.
