News Patchy Mix vs Jakub Wiklacz Set For UFC 320

Kind of random. I'd rather see both of these guys fighting established UFC guys, even if they're mid level UFC guys, at least then we'd have a better idea of where they stack up in the division.

The UFC should really be putting on "Bellator vs KSW" style matches first and foremost. Everyone else has to kinda do it, it's always CFFC vs LFA on DWCS or whatever, the only drawback here is that Mix is already 0-1.

The matchmakers are just too eager to give established outsiders the toughest no-name on their roster. I think RDR is the only exception, and I wouldn't be surprised if they figured GM3 might have surprised him there.

Mix is really good, but he's a specialist, and Jakub ultimately plays the same game he does.

Someone's gonna look pretty cool and I think that should be the idea.

Fights with guys like Mario Bautista should come after fights like this, at least IMO. But yeah, I totally understand the sentiment that we want to see where they stack up against current UFC fighters all the same.

I still hold a bit of a grudge against the UFC from the time they used to pit every non-UFC established fighter (often a specialist) against one of their generic wrestler-boxers...

Although Patchy won his last fight in PFL/bellator, he looked like shit there too. Could be a trend just saying …

Patchy looked fckn awful in his last bout. If he doesn't look impressive in this fight the UFC won't be for him imo.

On a side note how badass would it have been if we got Pyfer vs Robocop on this card...

I was really high on Patchy in Bellator, and he looked abysmal in his UFC debut. Not sure if it was the short notice and/or octagon jitters, or if I was just wrong about him. Hopefully he rises to the occasion and shows what he can do.

He can probably submit anyone in the division on any given day but he didn’t impress at all sadlyb

Also this guy looks kinda funny and fought the same guy 5 times in 2017, 2020, then 3 more times in his last 4 fights.
