So if you never been, you wanna buy your ticket ahead of time,or your looking at a guaranteed 2 hr wait.

This.

Went years ago with an ex gf.

The wait was just too damn long, so we left.

Loved Paris, however.

Louvre was cool, but I actually preferred the Musée de l'Orangerie.

Cool vibe and nowhere near as crowded.

As a visitor, a 9 b/c I've enjoyed other cities more Rome, Vennice, adn NYC but more than other cities in London, Ireland, and the US/Canada.

I used to love it. Montmatre was heaven to me. Till my husband grew a ZZ Top length beard. Then trying to eat lunch we were interrupted every two minutes by artists wanting to draw him.

Had my favourite meal of all time at Joel Robouchon's. Likely the only reason I would want to go back.

One of the most famous cities in the world. I personally never been there, but I love to check it out sometime. Also looks like very beautiful city.

I'm guessing some of you have been there, what's your thoughts on this legendary place?

I give it a solid 8. Beautiful city that's full of history and art.

The louvre is fantastic... I could spend a week there alone.

...such a shame about notre dame I love those old gothic buildings :(

Same goes for the Lourve

Two hours? Yeah... maybe out of tourist season. They said the expected wait the day we went there was 4-5 hours for those without tickets.

Not catholic but bought rosary beads there, just seemed fitting. Was pretty taken aback going there as a 14 year old and every time after. I have a thing about religious buildings. Rome is like crack.

I guess the restaurant at the Eiffel Tower is probably booked like crazy there I imagine.

Yeah but book ahead, it's totally worth it. Michelin starred... and that view.

It really is quite special, if over priced.

That's the thing about Europe... many of the most amazing buildings are churches, also some mosques in southern Europe.

I just love the gothic style specifically.

It's a shame here, so many of the churches look like they should be Sony's HQ, there's no beautiful architecture, they've been knocked up in 5 minutes. Went to St Peter's and the flippin pope showed up to do a blessing, had no idea. Again, not Catholic but I was choked up. Perfect timing being we didn't know he was coming.

Tbh, you can find a better meal for 1/10th the price at a local brassiere in a side street down an alley you think is not safe. But it turns out to be safe and has good food!!

Highly underrated comment right here.

I guess that's the difference between Europe and USA. I'm big into history so my preference is obvious. Not saying America doesn't have plenty of fun stuff to see and do but has nothing like for example: traveling to Italy and seeing Etruscan ruins that date back half a millennia before the Romans...

I gave Paris Hilton a 7. Granted, her best years are the early-mid 2000's, and I am going off that version, but she didn't have much of a rack, and I've always been pretty uncertain about her nose.

Great architecture, but beside that i prefer other parts of France

It's just really new here I guess. Rome, walked down a side alley and spotted a beautiful little chapel. Went in and there was an original Caravaggio on the wall. No bells and whistles "like come inside", just a "please don't touch".

But Italy feels like home way more than France, never had a bad trip. And I like France.
