So glad PPV model is dead. I can quickly choose between fights and fights were uploaded in full instantly. The streaming wasn't choppy. The ads sucked but when you watch on mute it wasn't bad. Quality was great and don't have to deal with sketchy pirate sites. My only complaint is that the stoppages seemed early.

Overall, was extremely pleased.
Didn't get freeze-locked or booted like I used to with PPV/ESPN+.
The quality of the stream was almost perfect, save for a couple of minor glitches.

I'm glad PPV is dead as well. Last night's was the first fight card I've watched in at least 5 years. However, if you've had Paramount+ for any amount of time, you'd know it's a shit service with a shit interface, which may depend on which platform you're using. I absolutely abhor it on my Samsung TV. I've only used it to watch local NFL games and both the streams and the UI tend to be laggy as fuck.

I thought it was great. I work Saturday nights so this was the first numbered event main card I got to watch live in years. I was on mobile and the app was quick and smooth with zero issues. I was constantly closing and reopening it too, as I was working. I wish they had a portrait mode but that's a pretty minor gripe.

I thought it was decent, but could use some improvements. From the sound of UFC president Dana White it sounds like they are open to feedback and making adjustments on the fly, given that this is a new relationship.

Most smart TVs run apps poorly. A Roku or something similar is much smoother.

They have to work on the ad placement and frequency.

Aside from that I am sure it will improve.

The best part is like you said - no more streaming or having to pay for each PPV.

Meh I tried to go back and rewatch some shit this morning and it was terrible. Couldn’t get past where I left off last night even after rebooting my TV.

The live stream was ok last night, but not great. I tried to rewind at one point to rewatch a finish and it just wasn’t achievable. I bailed and resumed to watch in on the replay.

Not quite as bad as ESPN+ but still not great

Watched it on my ps5. App itself needs work with the UI, wouldnt let me rewatch prelims for like 10 minutes after the main card ended but it finally worked. My only other gripe was manually having to switch from prelim feed to main card since it didn’t do it automatically.

Both incredibly minor problems. Very happy overall though, and was very cool to watch on the big screen at home without having to leave home (especially with the snow).

Absolutely worth the $48 i paid for the year, $4 a month! (Walmart + subscription gives you paramount plus, i got that on Black Friday deal)

The multi-cam angle seems like a really cool feature.

A band I hate, Nickleback, were actually revolutionaries 20+ years ago. They came out with a live concert DVD and you could select which member you wanted to watch for the whole set, which is a really good idea and a cool feature.

Felt like a worse version to navigate than Fight Pass, and now loaded with shitty ads.

Lame as fuck.
The ads are number one bullshit, brought to you by papakha hat special gift to share with friends and family for all time.

It's like the streaming services convinced everyone to get rid of cable, and then became cable with all the ads.

I thought it was great too.

It was the first time in years that I watched an entire event.

Ever since the ESPN deal started, I'd just been streaming certain fights here and there. It was nice to watch the entire event again and see some of the lesser known guys.

It's refreshing to see sherdoggers showing appreciation for once. Most of the time it's just complaints.

Kudos to Uncle Dana and Paramount!

Was fine for me. I enjoyed the broadcast, yes the ads were a bit much but I understand paying billions for a sport you have to maximize ways to make money on this thing. I know no fan wants to hear that esp mma fans who stole PPV for years so they got it free with no ads but assume they'll dial it back a bit.

Just not having to pay for PPV or relying on streams on computer that crash is good with me. I watch with brother and few friends and we always bring up Jones/Reyes. It was like Cable guy, as they were reading the scorecards in a fight we thought Jones might actually lose it went and the winner by and then dead, stream dies. We all jumped up like omg wtf. Just not having to deal with that anymore I'll take time over time, if I have to put up with some ads so be it.

It needed more ads.
But serious, way better than anything Netflix streamed

I also hate Nickelback... Which is why I didn't know that.....
