Recently I've been getting a sharp pain in my left and only the left butt cheek during squatting. After squatting I feel a weird feeling in my hip joint on the left side only. What's wrong here? :icon_neut

No idea. If it doesn't hurt too much, keep going, if it gets bad, see a doctor.

Cissus + Vit C. Stretch, foam roller. Heat.

You've aggravated a ligament is my guess.

With the information you've given, no one here can tell you for sure. If it's bad go see a doctor, preferably a chiroprachter who specializes in muscle therapies (ART, Graston) or a kinesiologist.

I got that sometimes

Some rest and doing what the cap'n says should fix it

+1

Even a tight hip flexor can lead to trigger points in the buttocks.

Probably a ligament as mentioned or a pinched nerve. I'd wrap your cheek in ice for 10 minutes twice a day and rest the area (no butt secks) for a week or two. Then see how it feels..

Don't worry you've just been touched by the S&P fairy.
