Paddy The Baddy is so popular. why?

Just wondering. I hear a lot of anti-Scouser putdowns, from UK Sherbros, naturally. So, what about the Beatles?
They get a Scouser exemption?
Scouser Tokenism?

everyone knows that the stones were better than the Beatles (other than scousers). A lot of their early stuff was commercial pop shite! A 60s boy band

He is a character and fun but he got me when he addressed the suicide in the post fight interview, I went from "He is a fun guy" to "I really like this guy"

I agree with you but Paddy isn't as rich as people think, he even jokes about it.

True, I heard his last pay day was criminally low for the amount of buzz he's creating, he's on the right path for very good pay days though.

He's smart and lives life on his terms. It helps that he can fight.

He's a charismatic scouser who is friendly, likes to eat and plays into the hype machine.

He's basically become a caricature through careful cultivation in some areas and then himself in others. I don't dislike the guy. Not a fan either.
What I'm waiting for, is more demonstrations of his fighting abilities. At first I couldn't stand him, but let's be honest, there's much much worse in terms of behavior. I'm just not sold on his skills yet (this is mma, not WWE)

God like accent and hair
Exciting fights
Actually a nice dude who cares about good causes

I've been loosely following the kid and only just found out that meatball chick isn't his girlfriend/wife, and she's into chicks.
