Paddy Pimplet career hasn't been the same since he interviewed Dana.

The best guy Paddy can beat is Dan Hooker and maybe Dariush if Paddy is lucky.

Mma fans are morons, all paddy has to do is scoop up another neighbours dogs shit and he’ll be flavour of the month again.

Dont think hes much worse than Sean O' Malley tbh. I know he' s ranked two or whatever. More talented than Pimblett yes, but many fighters are.
What? You really can’t see the talent difference between a top 5 guy who has a ton of highlight reel finishes in dominant fashion compared to a regional level fighter who has his hands full with guys who aren’t even top 20?

But Gordon lost sir. The three people who matter cage side agreed on that.

Paddy absolutely deserves the hype and the UFC push he's getting. There aren't a lot of people on the roster who have his natural charisma. He can make a ton of money fighting the journeyman on the roster. A lot of fighters would love to be on the cards he's on. More money for everyone. Not everyone's destined to be the top in the division.

I disagree, we all know Gordon won.
Charisma doesn't win fights, skill does.

He thought he and Dana would be boys if he shat on Ariel and got carried away. He lacks maturity that fella, or something else

The fans went a little overboard with that Gordon fight. It was clearly 1 and 1 going into that third round, and Gordon proceeded to spend the entire third round trying to control Paddy instead of trying to do damage or end the fight. From the updated scoring criteria, I can easily see how the round was awarded to Paddy. Similar thing happened in Santos vs Shevchenko, when Shev was on the bottom all round yet did more damage from there.

People just hating on him. Go Paddy

The thing in MMA is that you are usually only the next big thing until you rack up some Ls. Then you are a loser and lose that shine. Paddy had lost, but not in front of most UFC fans.

Then he goes and kisses Dana's ass, insults Ariel for no reason and is delusional about winning a close decision.

A lot of fighters seem to think you NEED to be a blowhard and act like Colby/Trump/Connor 24/7, but that's not true. Be interesting, sure, but people actually like humble fighters with realistic perspectives. Look at Sean O'Malley. He's gotten nothing but praise after winning a razor thin decision and then noting that the fight was basically a toss up.

UFC made everyone think he was more skilled than he really was. Paddy's a fun action fighter but he's not top 15 material, let alone champ material. looking at the lightweight top 15, who do you honestly think Paddy could beat? maaaybe Hooker if he happens to get lucky and catch him in a submission, or maaaybe Moicano if he gets a lucky hard punch in there. Drew Dober was rumored to be a potential opponent - i cant see Paddy beating him at all and in fact i think Dober would put him out cold.
the guy just needs to realize who he is. ill paraphrase Dober and say that Paddy has a lot of growing and maturing to do.

People just hating on him. Go Paddy

"hating" is just another term insecure people use to deflect legitimate criticism.

Ironic that you make this point and ignore the substance of my post.

i didnt ignore it, i just believe youre wrong. which is why i said that dismissing everything as "hating" is not valid. Paddy has said shit which has not only been dumb, its rubbed fans the wrong way. is it really a good idea to simp that hard in front of Dana, or to go after Ariel that much? Paddy has to realize who he is, as ive said. he'll hopefully become more mature going forward. but who knows, celebrity can fuck with peoples' ego.

All that stuff is secondary, I'm talking about the fallout from the fight itself.

Conor became a star pretty fast. He’ll never reach Conor level stardom
Mainly because he's not going to go on a KO streak against top 5 opponents and win 2 belts. there are a lot of things not directly related to fighting that help your marketability, but winning will always be #1. This guy is not the real deal.

Dariush really? I’ll go ahead and say both Hooker and Beneil starch him.
Both guys should beat Paddy but I could see Paddy going full spaz vs Dariush and starching him like Hernandez did if he's lucky.

I could see Paddy winnig against Hooker if he gets concussed and gets +50 Iq somehow.
There's a path to victory even if very small.

Vs the other guys there's 0 path to victory.

He messed with Ariel and its all down hill from there.

He got exposed and got a gift like Kimbo vs James Thompson, everyone knows Paddy will never be elite to be fair everyone should have known earlier. He claimed he'd do better against Islam than Charles did lol

Licked the ass too hard, add to that a robbery and the fact that he has a thin skin and cares way too much about social media and you have a recipe for disaster.

Personally I hope he gets a top 10 or top 5 next, is gonna be hillarious.

Recipe for disaster as in he makes a load of money and accrues a large following despite probably never cracking the elite tier?

Yeah, that's not a recipe for disaster.
He's just working with what he's got.
He's still entertaining to watch even if he never makes it to the top.
