Yeah, for sure, let them enjoy what they think is a high level bout I guess (but still laugh at them)...

It's a slight shame, because I think if Paddy had taken this fight prior to the Gordon one where he looked like shit, he'd have probably won and got way more credit for it than he'll get now.

I just think they're pulling the trigger too late, and it's kinda obvious how low the confidence must be in Paddy if they're actually giving him this fight. It puts him below Bobby Green in their estimations.

But yeah, you make a fine point Sherbro - the crowd will probably love/overvalue this fight, and that's what the entertainment in sports-entertainment is all about!

I have zero hopes for Paddy and really have desire to see him test top 15. He's a niche entertainer and probably a safer fight for ferg. I mean if Ferg wants to keep going his fans should be happy he's getting this fight over a legit killer looking to make a name

Very good point.

Most dudes wreck Ferg and scramble that brain.

Paddy is most definitely not that dude.

If you needed more evidence they are actively protecting pimblett from being starched by a competent top 15.

Here you go.
