It's true, his only recent sub wins were sparse and weren't against the most defensively sound guys on the mat. I think a lot of that had to do with many opponents recognizing how dangerous his guard was, him fighting a number of strikers, and Cowboy being a dude who is willing to bang. Regardless, I'm not sure he would necessarily have to sub Pimblett; he could potentially outwork Paddy on the mat like Soren and Nad did. That said, I agree that it wouldn't be a foregone conclusion given Pimblett's grappling skills.
