Hot Take Paddy looked AWFUL and completely outclassed

In theory he coud be a tank with that chin. Sadly he has no near beer minimum the skills to be in top 5. The dude is a tank with zero firing power
 
He was only popular because of his ridiculous haircut and personality. Isn't he supposed to be some grappling wizard? Why didn't he try to grapple, then?

yeah this is what happens when guys are fighting below their true weight class he was drained from the cut or possibly from trt he faded and Justin just kept going like the eveready bunny

Justin was there for the taking. An extremely battle worn 38 yr old with one foot out the door yet he beat the shit out of Pimblett, who's never taken a beat down like that in his life.

Cos Pimbletta's ego is so big he took the shots and didn't give up but man did he looks pathetic blocking all those shots with his face.

This is a super reasonable take. To me his stock went up. Also, it cleared the air that he's not ready for a real title shot. I hope he gets better, he needs to make some moves.
 
It was bad some of his punches look like slaps. Early on I though something might have been wrong with his hand it was so bad.

I’m sayin man.. everyone wanna talk about Paddy heart and chin an I respect that. But he wasn’t the underdog. He’s 31, he should be better. He should’ve cleaned up his boxing and the fact he’s throwing slap punches means he has trouble dropping bad habits

Control time doesn't matter, Paddy landed more shots and the more damaging shots aside from the knockdown but I think Gaethje getting rd 1 was the right call.

People just talked up his grappling because he used it to dominate washed up cans in a row like Green, Tony, and Chandler lol. He got outgrappled completely by Gordon who is not even a top 15 level fighter.

He's nowhere near an elite fighter in the UFC.
