It's true, what Dana say when guys talk about retiring they probably should. Gaethje is basically done fighting, just wants one more titleshot then leaves. I'm thinking Paddy pulls it off and then everyone says Justin was old like Chandler. Whatever.

I honestly am rooting for either guy, Paddy for longevity or Gaethje for nostalgia, either way LW has one less contender than God.

If Gaethje wins he'll just end up getting chinned by Topuria, there's no intrigue in that fight.

Don't think Pimblett has a great chance vs Topuria either but it would be a fun buildup to the fight & more interesting for the sport if Paddy was the one pulling off the upset win than Gaethje at this point in his career.

I think you meant Paddy as the first word of your first sentence? Unless you mean Gaethje has a split personality with two different Fight IQs, lol. That's possibly true. In favorable match-ups like Ferguson and Fiziev, he can fight reasonably smart. If there's a grappling threat, his IQ goes out the window.

I favor Paddy as well. I think he may time a leg kick and take Gaethje down, or just overpower him like he did Chandler. Paddy is a huge LW.

Paddy and Gaethe are not above max and arman … and usman def not infront of any of the ww contenders …lopes also probably not the rightful contender but at least he’s undoubtedly more exciting then Murphy and Evloev

Hard to preduct but Paddy is one of the largest LWs. Well rounded, got good bjj and solid stand up, kicks. I mean is Justin gonna KO him. Paddy is also good at not getting knocked out. It's simply prime vs on the way out. Can imagine both winning but Paddy looked so goos his last fight I will pick him for being young.

In this scenario that assessment has a teinge of merit. Justin after all of his wars has lost a step and Paddy isn’t as proven as he is entertaining. I think even a shopworn Gaethje is a great feather for Paddy. I truly think the accolades Paddy gets for a W vastly exceed Justin’s for beating Paddy. Therefore I don’t see it going entirely the direction you stated if Paddy wins
