Pacman vs JMM

lol I love how the people saying "almost everyone agrees JMM won the fight" go on to later admit they're Mexican.

Seriously, it was a close competitive fight. Whining worse than JMM and Rafa combined is not becoming of having such a proud heritage in the Sport of Boxing. Get the F over it.

So I'm not trying to sway anyone's opinion on the matter. Maybe to try and understand the judge's point of view, there are 2 major points that may have effected the scoring:

1) The knockdown set the tone for the remainder of the fight. A knockdown by JMM (or at least a stunning blow) may have neutralized the tone but it just didn't happen. And no, being off balance for 1.5 seconds doesn't count as a stunning blow.

2) JMM's nasty cut - seriously, you could see the flesh from a mile away and this could easily sway the opinions of the 2 judges that were sitting adjacent to JMM's corner. True, they were both cut, but JMM's cut was exceptionally bad.

With that in mind, you could probably see why the judges could give Pac a majority of the close rounds for ring control and being the aggressor.

Pac also had JMM in bad trouble again aside from the knockdown.

It was razorsharp. Could have gone either way in my opinion. I thought it was a draw but better a winner and Pac did put him on his ass.

Shame they wont do it again. These two produce some really classy boxing.

I noticed something similar in Ring magazine with before fight picks.

Every pick fr Marquez was ether a latin sports writer or a latin fighter. Just the opposte for Manny picks.

Sadly, this is how it always is.

I remember when Floyd and DLH were going to fight. Every African-American that I asked picked Mayweather. Every Mexican-American picked Oscar.

Get the fuck off your high horse. I come here to read and talk boxing and I always have to read your bullshit. You give the fucking most dumb analysis of past fights and what if fights. Your boxing knowledge is garbage.

It was a head butt it should have affected Manny in the score cards and not JMM, it wasn

Agree, he is hanging on Manny

Blinded by the nuts. JMM schooled Manny this past fight. That fucking head butt Manny landed was fucking intentional. He went in head first, it was pretty obvious.

Here in Mexico we all knew the Vegas judges were going to fuck up against JMM, since the beginning of the fight everyone was saying he need to ko Manny cause the judges were going to give it to Manny no matter what...and it happen...

Not agreeing that it was intentional but Manny sure as hell wasn't broken up about it. He was smiling immediately after it happened as he watched JMM's reaction.

Lot of these posts are pretty funny.

Especially all the whining from the Mexies

Its like when they lose to the U.S. in soccer. All they do is *whine* *bitch* *whine* *bitch*

I'm Filipino and I scored it 114-113 for Marquez. However, during scoring I had a "reverse racism" kind of thing going, so when a round was very close I gave it to Marquez instead of my countryman to make up for my Filipino bias. Hehe.

Anyway it was a very good fight between the two best fighters in the weight class. I'd love to see a 3rd fight and I'd love to see Pacquiao being more aggressive. He should have gone for the kill in the 4th round. Marquez recovers quickly and Pacquiao should have learned that from the first fight.

Here's to a 3rd!
