Rank these pound-for-pound criteria for best mythical fighter:
(feel free to add more categories)

- undefeated (no losses) / longest win streak
- title defenses
- multi-divison champion in different weight categories

- quality of opponents (combined record of opponents)
- finish rate (how many wins go to decision?)
- rounds lost / most 10-8 rounds / 1st-round finishes

- "well-roundedness" of mma skillset (striking and grappling, etc.)
- effectiveness of their specialty

---------------------------------------------------------------------

example:
- many people agree that islam makhachev is more "well-rounded" than khabib.
- but at the same time, it is popular opinion that prime khabib > prime islam.
- which means that khabib's criteria (undefeated and most 10-8 rounds) trumps islam's critera (well-roundedness of mma skillset)

The criteria by which I judge a fighter is their heart. Their willingness to take on anyone and everyone, despite it not being in their best interests - that’s what fightings about

It’s a very debatable subject because Khabib was never really in any fights, he was in one sided exhibitions, but that’s just because he was that far ahead skill wise. Does that mean he has no heart? We don’t know

I like Islam because he has shown an ability to fight through the fire a few times now, particularly in the last fight with Poirier where he had to dig deep

I don’t rate Jon at all as a fighter or person. He won most of his fights by poking people in the eyes and looked like shit since they forced him to stop - OSP, Santos, Reyes

Pereira is very high up on the list, but apparently he is susceptible to wrestling, which no one has been able to fully exploit yet

it's not fair to say "alex pereira sucks at being well-rounded because he has never shown it in the octagon"

what if he is actually good at grappling, but has never been able to show it off because he is so good at knocking out opponents?
