Reports coming out that he has passed. Liked him and Black Sabbath a lot in highschool and such. Still have a number of their CDs, just rarely get around to listening to them

RIP. True legend

Edit: changing original tweet I used from a news account to his official account

RIP to a legend. His music was transcendental

Somehow I thought he would be older seeing that he already looked 70s in The Osbournes 20 years ago.

One of my all time favorite childhood memories is watching the Road Warriors rush the ring to the opening strains of Iron Man and beat the dog mess out of whatever poor schlubs was in the ring waiting for them so thanks, Ozzy, for being a part of that awesome entrance every week

Always been a huge Ozzy/Black Sabbath fan.

My first Ozzy concert was in 1981 at the age of 2; My mom took me to a Day on the Green in Oakland. From there I grew up listening to his music and eventually Sabbath as I got older. Fun fact, one of the songs on Tribute to Randy Rhodes album was taken from that show.

I was fortunate to see Black Sabbath in 1999 on their reunion tour, with Pantera opening for them.

Saw Ozzy on the Merry Mayhem tour in the early 2000s and a couple times at Ozz Fest in 1997 and 1998.

I actually just bought a 1981 vinyl pressing of Blizzard of Ozz that is in amazing shape like three days ago. Had all of his albums and Sabbath in various forms on cassette, vinyl or CD.

RIP my man, glad you got to go out on top.

RIP legend

sad but at the same time its pretty incredible that he said goodbye the way he did with mega concert. Truly one and only.

Makes me think of Ultimate Warrior going to wwe hof and appearing on Raw just before passing. These things just cant truly be explained.

It's amazing he even lived as long as he did. I never liked his music, but I respect the impact he had with that type of music and genre. He obviously was very influential. As for him in particular based on the reality TV show, he seemed like a really cool father, husband and person.

Rest in peace.

R.I.P
Wonder if they planned that farewell concert, knowing his health was poor. The clips I saw, he was singing while seated.

Hopefully he wasn’t in pain or anything

They absolutely did. He’s been bad for a while, wouldn’t be surprised if the gig was the only thing that got him through the last few months.
