Overeem is not a wrestler. He cant take his opponents down by single / double leg takedowns. His entries are slow, predictable and he's not confident doing this. TE and Blaydes won't prepare him enough, it's too late, Reem is 40 y.o.
Jones is a greco - roman wrestler and his takedowns from the outside are much better than Reem however he's not great doing this and he's long and skinny that's why he should use his clinch more.
Greco - roman plus muay thay is a perfect combo for fight in the clinch when you are tall fighter like Jones or Overeem.
Proper muay thai gyms will teach you how to take your opponent down from the clinch by multiple ways. That's why Overeem's takedowns from the clinch were always high level. Jones is the best wrestler in the clinch, first Cormier fight is a prove.
Reem and Jones have very stiff boxing, shitty head/body movement and looping hooks (sometimes they overextends as well) however they can fight from orthodox and southpaw well and they have good cross punch especially left cross.
Jones is using his reach better aka eye pokes. Reem loves to cover behind tight high double guard what's only good when he's stucked next to the fence fighting against other striker.
Overeem was tired in 4th and 5th against Jairzinho because he tried takedowns from the outside and Rozenstruik landed few nasty body shots when Reem covered behind his guard in the octagon center.
Reem and Jones are deadly from the clinch, they should spam lot of knees and elbows there and look for the takedown (throws, trips or double next to the fence). On the outside Reem should use his reach more and both guys should spam less overhand right. Both guys have excellent kicks, Jones is a move volume kicker, Reem is more about power and he's a counter striker.
