Other nations know SpaceX has won but the USA could build a lead in space sustainable to 2100

Ai development has going pretty rabidly. Also they know of way to terraform mars, which i think they plan on doing that in the next 10 years.

Horseshit. lol at terraform mars in 10 years.

If we follow abortion logic, future or potential life has no rights and we should not be doing anything for them. What does it matter if humanity is aborted? You guys pro life now?

NO AI has been a total disaster and the most intelligent Robot is far inferior to the intelligence of the World's dumbest bug.

AI does not exist on any level its an illusion. ITs just raw computer power and codes.

As for MARS: One day humans will terraform it but we are talking 200 years from now or more. The amount of technology and energy needed to be created is centuries beyond 2018 Earth.
Next Century we set up bases
Following Century in 2200's we start the terraforming process of whatever that is such as getting a runaway greenhouse effect but Mars has NO Magnetic Field and its a dead planet. Your DNA would be destroyed in seconds on MARS without protection. The real future lies beyond MARS. Also Humans will be able to genetically alter plant species that can adopt on Mars to release the oxygen

Plus the 3 titty chick from total recall would be up there. I’ve always fantasized about 3 tits lol

i just want us to become the united America Space federation or something bad ass like that

Fucking up the universe one solar system at a time.

What a slogan.

They’d build a McDonald’s in space before you knew it. Freedoms

Brah, stop dreaming so small. We be da kings, burger kings brother.

Every other Space Agency in the world knows that SpaceX has won with reusable rockets.

They have? SpaceX is not even close to the NASA SLS (Space Launch System) rocket program. First launch scheduled for December 2019. It has plans for crew missions to Mars. This thing is a beast and is government funded.

Don't forget Jeff Bezos' 'Blue Origin' aerospace and spaceflight program. It should outpace SpaceX when Elon Musk goes bankrupt. Which should not be far away.

"The SLS is to be the most powerful rocket ever built with a total thrust greater than that of the Saturn V, putting the SLS into the super heavy-lift launch vehicle class of rockets."

interns of reuseablity, yes. And the SLS is pretty god damn far behind and those mars mission plans are so damn far away for nasa 2030? we could easily do it sooner...

Mars missions are never going to happen with private money. Both the costs and risks are too great. Federal money is federal money, we waste billions every year. NASA, and everyone else, has to sell the 'Mars Mission' idea to the public for the funding. That is a pretty hard sell these days. Even going back to the moon is a hard sell these days. Today, it costs $10,000 to put 1 pound of payload in Earth orbit. Imagine putting 1 pound of payload into Mars orbit.

Yeah that is crazy. And it still doesn't deal with the biggest problem on Mars. It's weak magnetic field doesn't sufficiently shield you from cosmic rays. We are fortunate that earth has the solid iron core counterrotating in a liquid iron core to generate the very powerful magnetic field that protects us. If that should weaken significantly then all life on earth is screwed.
